  • CHICKEN DAY

    Rebellious and troubled, thirteen-year-old Charlie Holland decides to enter her rural community's annual chicken race. Best-case scenario: she humiliates her estranged father and provides her mother enough cash to help rid the family of some debt. Worst-case: she destroys everything good left in her life and takes her family down with her.

    CHICKEN DAY is the Minnesota-based feature film collaboration of first time feature director, Amanda Becker, up-and coming producer, Hannah Walker, New Globe Films' Christine Walker, and McKnight Award winning screenwriter, Melissa Brandt.

  • LAND OF ENCHANTMENT

    When a disillusioned nurse searches for her estranged teenaged daughter, she finds herself in the lawless wilderness of the New Mexico desert. Once there, she is forced to confront her past and choose between her old life in the real world and a newfound freedom living off the grid.

    LAND OF ECHANTMENT is inspired by the award-winning documentary Off the Grid: Life on the Mesa. Eric Juhola, a producer of the original documentary, co-wrote and will direct the film. Christine Walker will produce, along with Jeremy Stulberg (co-writer and director of Off the Grid) and Director of Photography Reed Morano (Little Birds, For Ellen, Frozen River.) Patricia Arquette (True Romance, Lost Highway, Medium) is attached to star.

    A small town bank president becomes involved in a plot to destroy a competing Native owned bank and its visionary leader.

    SINS OF OUR FATHERS is written and directed by Shawn Lawrence Otto, writer and co-producer of the Oscar-nominated film HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG (Ben Kingsley, Jennifer Connelly). New Globe Films' Christine Walker will produce with Mary Frances Budig of Spare Room Productions and DarkFire TV's Steven Pearl. Production is slated to begin summer of 2013.

    Jill married her gay best friend Adam to keep him in the country. After three years of marriage, the green card has come and Adam is ready to move on - so why is breaking up so hard to do?

    GET HAPPY will be directed by Andrew Peterson, an award-winning filmmaker and VP of Production at indie production house Werc Werk Works (Darling Companion, Thin Ice, Howl). New Globe Films’ Christine Walker will produce, with Jay Cohen of the Gersh Agency representing. Walker and Peterson have assembled an impressive crew, including: Director of Photography Julio Macat (Wedding Crashers, The Wedding Planner, A Walk to Remember), Production Designer Dina Goldman (Darling Companion, A Prairie Home Companion, Camp), Costume Designer Molly Maginnis (As Good As It Gets, Role Models, She’s Out of My League), and Editor Plummy Tucker (Too Big to Fail, Lonesome Jim, Girlfight).
